Daman-e-Koh (Urdu: دامن کوہ) is a survey point and slope top nursery north of Islamabad and situated in the Margalla Hills. Its name is a combination of two Persian words, which together means foot slopes. It is around 2400 ft from ocean level and just about 500 ft from the city of Islamabad. It is a mainstream objective for the occupants just as the guests to the capital.
Daman-e-Koh is a midpoint for sightseers en route to the higher view point Pir Sohawa which is situated at the highest point of Margalla Hills at a rise of around 3600 ft. There is an arrangement to develop a chairlift from Daman-e-Koh to Pir Sohawa. Monkeys are a typical sight during winter. Cheetahs are habitually answered to plummet from higher slopes of Murree during snowfall.
